Garuda Power has completed a decade of serving customers across eastern India and we will remain grateful to all our customers as they continue to provide us the opportunity to serve. At this point of our journey I would like to share some of our highs with you, crediting your support and the hard work of our associates.
Garuda power was conceived and registered on the 18th Feb’2009, promoted by DR Deshpande and NC Ghosh of Premier Diesels and B S Jayant of Jupiter Services. These two companies had a rich history of serving customers in eastern India for Cummins. Coming from the same fraternity we found opportunity in harnessing the energies of the two organisations to create a resonance in driving the mutual ambitions to grow and become leaders in electrical and mechanical solutions.
We began with serving customers principally in the state of Bengal and moved on to becoming a channel partner for Cummins India across entire Eastern India, covering the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Western Odisha, Sikkim, Assam and the six other north eastern states, in addition to Bengal. In this journey we added the experience of our contemporaries, Mr DC Kulkarni and Mr R S Chahal and the energies of our young Directors, Abhyuday, Abhay and Jaspinder.
In keeping in line with our vision of becoming leaders in electrical and mechanical service solutions, we have integrated other services in the area of transmissions, heat exchangers, industrial oils, Electrical drives, Fabrication and up fits, Fuel Injection systems, etc., in association with Cummins India Ltd, Valvoline India , ZF Transmissions, Alpha Laval, Bosch, FRVelion.
What began as a group with a 30 Cr revenue has grown to over 130 Cr and is positioned to attain 150 Cr in revenue for the FY 20-21 and projected to grow at a CAGR of 12-15%.
I reiterate that none of this would have been possible without your support and help in co-creating products and Services which keep us relevant to the changing times.
